Yup, its finally Friday, but not just any Friday, its the Friday before the big party for the sweet little girl who is turning 1! 1! yes, no longer a baby, she is my sweet big girl.

Evelyn Ray Winter you are one year old! (In two days).  I can remember the day like it was yesterday. After 20 1/2 hours of labor, no sleep, two epidurals and all the jelly lube in the labor ward, you popped into this world.

And it has been a whirlwind ever since.  You have endured moving into a new house, mommy changing jobs, you have flown to Florida for Christmas, gone to TCU games. You have changed daycares three times, worn a DocBand, been sick with RSV (6 times), had 8 ear infections, gotten tubes and had pneumonia.  But you have taken it like a champ.

You were just 7lbs 4 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long.

Now, you weigh 23 lbs 13 ounces and are about 30 inches tall.

You eat everything there is to eat, but love blueberries, meatballs, and toast the best.  You are drinking 100% whole milk and water like its your job.

Your interest in how things work amazes me.  You stick your little tongue out and look so intent on figuring it out. You like to put things from one basket to another, pull up on everything and play with the pups.  You aren't walking yet, but you have started to let mommy and daddy help you walk.

You giggles are infectious, your smile and dimples to die for and being your mommy is the best gift ever.

We love you to the moon and back Evie Ray!

Happy First Birthday!

Here's to the next year of you life!!
