A Very Married Weekend

Morning all! Today I am recapping the weekend which was wedding weekend for my very best friend from law school.

Friday afternoon J and I headed down to Austin, Texas. The drive should take 3 hours. 4 hours later we made it, which actually was great considering it took others closer to 4.5 hours.  J dropped me off at the Driskel Hotel for the rehearsal and I literally changed in the lobby and ran up for the 5pm call time.

The rehearsal was followed by the dinner at a local spot called Carmelo's.  It was a great evening of catching up with old friends and getting to know new ones and entertaining the cutest flower girl ever.

Saturday I got to sleep in!! Yes people I stayed in bed til 8:30 am.  It was glorious.  Out hotel overlooked the Congress bridge (the one with the bats), and I enjoyed coffee and a snack with my hubs before heading to get ready at 11am.

The rest of the day was spent getting ready and enjoying the bride.  For those of you non-Texans, the Driskel is an historic hotel in the heart of downtown Austin.  My word to describe it and this wedding would be opulent. So, here is the wedding in photos:
