Weekend Recap

If case you missed it, I just spent the best weekend with my girls.  It was pretty epic if I do say so myself.  We ate, drank, laughed, relaxed, and made memories.

I arrived in Tennessee late Thursday evening and met P!nky.  We caught up and then I got some much-needed sleep.  Friday morning we headed to the gym so I could experience BodyPump.  It was an amazing workout and the best way to start the day.  We then headed towards Atlanta.  P!nky and I had a late lunch while Jess made her to downtown.

We all met at the hotel and spent the next 2 hours catching up.  We talked about everything. It was amazing.  Then we headed out to dinner.  Ya'll no kids, good food, wine, laughs and two Ubers.  Somewhere in Atlanta Abdul and Curtis are still raving about the three women who graced their Ubers that evening.  After dinner we took a ride on the Sky View.  I have never had so much fun in a ferris wheel in my life.  After the Sky View, we headed to the hotel for the night.  Sleep, sweet uninterrupted sleep.

The next morning we had some coffee and headed for the spa.  80 minutes for pure heaven was Deion getting all the kinks and knots out of my back.  It was also the quickest 80 minutes of my life.  While P!nky got her massage, Jess and I enjoyed the sauna and then rinsed off and headed back to the room.  We then all cleaned up and headed for tacos and margs.  We dined on tacos and chips from BarTaco and made so many more memories.  After lunch, Jess headed back to her babies and I needed a nap.  2 1/2 hours later I felt like a new woman.

P!nky and I then headed to dinner at the hotel restaurant.  I had the most delicious scallops and we ended it with Nutella cheesecake.

And then it was Sunday.  Well, after another night of 10 hours of sleep.  P and I had pizza for lunch and then headed for the airport.

Ya'll, it was an amazing weekend.  My heart is so full and I am more relaxed.  It truly amazes me how this little piece of the interwebs brought me these two amazing women and then friendship that we have formed over the last 6 years.  Yup, 6 years I have known these two.  They have helped me through the highest of times and the lowest of times.  Through my divorce, finding love again, finding out I was pregnant, getting married again, having E, changing jobs, and basically becoming the woman I am today.

No matter how much blogging changes or has changed, I owe my friendships to it.  It gave me a space to be me, to share my life and to connect with women in a way I never have.  Until next year #neverletgojack #theresnorules
