35 Things About Me
For those of you that are new around here. Hi, I’m Lynn. I am a wife, mom and lawyer. I blog about life, motherhood and health & fitness. Oh and occasionally beauty.
As I approach my 36 anniversary of my birth, I thought I would share 35 things you may not know about me.
I was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Texas when I was almost 2.
I have an older brother who has been my greatest supporter and friend.
I had a career in higher education before going to law school.
The same person who was responsible for me meeting my husband introduced to me to my now husband.
E’s middle name, Ray, is my former twirling teacher’s last name.
Both my dogs have middle names: Chloe Elaine and Sophie Diane. I love the mix of modern and traditional.
I had braces twice, once in middle to high school and then again as an adult.
I never lived in a house until I was 28 years old.
I hate beer. My husband loves it.
I was a competitive baton twirler for 20 years.
I also played soccer and ran track in high school.
I followed my high school boyfriend to college and we broke up 3 days before school started.
I had a pet sugar glider in high school.
I was on the verge of quitting the practice of law before I got my current job.
My favorite food is French fries.
When I was pregnant I craved ice. Like legit had to take extra iron because I crunched it all the time.
I hate cobbler and any kind of pie that involves fruit. But I love pumpkin pie.
I get up at 4:45 am to spend some quiet time with my thoughts and my devotional.
In law school I was so obsessed with my weight that I got down to 110 pounds due to stress and obsession.
My first job was a carhop at sonic.
I grind my teeth at night and have to wear a nightguard. Real sexy.
I would choose champs over any other alcohol.
I teach dance at the studio where my daughter takes. And she is in my class.
I have never done ballet on pointe.
I am an avid runner and I am gearing up for a half.
I was the only person in DFW would did not go to Taylor Swift.
I have been blogging since 2011. The blog has undergone one name change.
I never tailgated until after I graduated from TCU.
I do not like pumpkin spice lattes.
I secretly want to live in the country and raise horses.
I have a black belt in Karate.
I have refurnished half the rooms in our house via a Facebook moms buy/sale page.
I get E ready by myself every morning. We are like a well-oiled machine. You know a machine that often whines and cries, but we get it done.
I have always dreamed of owning of own business. Doing the Beachbody coaching is part of a way to fulfill that dream.
I want to own a bakery after I retire.
