Talk Tuesday: Christmas Meal

For as long as I can remember, I have been having Christmas dinner with my godparents. Its a crown roast, salad, green beans, root veggies, rolls and a dessert. All very traditional. Well, this year, we are staying home and decided to cook our own Christmas dinner. And it got me thinking about what others eat for Christmas dinner.

My in-laws always have a tenderloin, my ex-inlaws turkey (which to me is Thanksgiving). But for some reason I have it in my head that Christmas is ham. Perhaps its because I like ham more than turkey, but ham it is. And then, I went down a rabbit hole of what do other countries do for Christmas dinner.

Christmas Eve we do tamales, enchiladas and rice (tex-mex for the win people). And Christmas morning we do cinnamon rolls (which I always buy from someone) and enjoy a slow morning.

So, tell me, what do you serve for Christmas Day dinner/lunch?
