Weekend Wrap-Up Vol. 4

And here we are, almost half way through February and the countdown to Valentine’s Day is t-minus 3 days! And the countdown to the big Mommy and Me slumber party is t-minus 5 days! But, alas let’s recap the weekend.


What I Did:

Ya’ll, this weekend was cold and wet. And by cold, I actually mean it was about 30 degrees all weekend long. Friday, I only made it about half-way through work before I just needed to sleep. So, I headed home and slept. Meanwhile, the hubs took E to get her haircut. I mean, she came home looking like she was 12!


Then we hit up our favorite place for dinner and then crashed when we got home.

Saturday morning I finally felt human, so I got in a workout, along with E, and then was off to teach dance and twirling. My littles were just as cute as ever.


What I Saw:

Target, Home Goods, Marshall’s… I am on the search for some items of décor for my home. I am hosting 8 mamas and their littles at my house this weekend, so I want it to look picture perfect. I am on the hunt for a new rug for the living room, some kitchen décor items and some things to make my desk shelves look more put together.

I also watched all the Hallmark Valentine’s movies while I was on bedrest Thursday and Friday. I admit, I like the Christmas ones much better.


What I Ate:

So, after eating soup for three days, I was ready for grub! I dined on a delicious pulled pork BBQ sandwich and friends at World of Beer on Saturday. And for those of you who follow my stories, I did not have coffee for once! Nope, I opted for a Truly in grapefruit.

I also attended a Galentine’s Day tea on Sunday. So, it was all the tea and tea cakes and tea sandwiches.


What I wore:

All the cozy sweatshirts. It has been so darn cold I have just been bundled up in all the warm clothes.
