Weekending:Weekend Wear for Every Weekend
Anyone else feel like your weekend zoomed by a little too quickly? Yeah, me too! We jammed packed a ton in there and now here it is Monday and I am exhausted, But, it was amazing! Between The Best of the West Party and Father’s Day, it was one for the books.
Now, ya’ll know my normal weekend wear consists of workout clothes since I teach Saturdays, but I have finally found the perfect weekend wear that went from dance studio to errands, and finally to the movies.
Ya’ll… these leggings feel like BUTTER on your legs. They are the softest material and totally pass the bend over test. They are from Dharma Bum and I got them at Fitted, They have
A 17 inch inseam (no camel toe)
Higher waistband for a medium support fit
High performance fabric with four-way stretch
Perfect for yoga, the gym, running, pilates and general activewear
Seriously, if you are looking for a legging that won’t budge, move, get lose or make anything look bad, these are them.
I wore this amazing navy blue sports bra by prAna with it and it just didn’t feel like a sports bra. It is so darn comfortable and supportive and did not rub or dig into me. prAna is an amazing brand from the US. YOU need this sports bra. I have worn it to barre, to teach and to the movies.
But, perhaps the best thing, is the shirt.
Ya’ll this shirt… it is everything in a shirt and more. I know, sounds totally odd, but again, its the softest thing ever and feels like pajamas. Its also from Dharma Bums and I now need it in like every color and style. It was great for teaching because it covered everything, but was still cool. And then it transitioned right into errands and the movies paired with some jeans and sandals.
So, Fitted has kind of become my new go-to place to get cute and ethically sourced workout and athleisure wear. Sarah and Missy’s mission and story is inspiring and you all know I am constantly looking for way to support women and live cleaner and wear sustainable brands. These two women were just active mamas who wanted to look good and feel good, but with conscious. And that is how Fitted was born.
This was at a recent pop-up I attended for them and I wanted to bring it all HOME!
And in other weekend news… I took E to see Aladdin and we LOVED it! Anyone else seen it? The music was good and just what I know from the original. Will Smith was cute as the genie, but I do admit I loved Robin Williams in that role. I did like the little added storyline concerning the genie. And E is now obsessed with the songs.
E also graduated from Princess Academy and now she goes back to reality of school full-time tomorrow.
We also celebrated Father’s Day!
The hubs and E went to a Brews & Braids and he learned to braid and do a cute messy bun. E and I also did our annual donut run for the hubs. Thus year we opted for Hurts Donuts and they did not disappoint. The flavors were fun and the names super cute, but the donuts were delish!
We showered daddy with presents and let him have some down time.
