Lynn Winter

DIRECTOR AND COACH

Lynn began baton twirling at the age of 3 in Arlington, Texas at the local YMCA. Is there that she met her coach, Vicki Ray, and developed a love and passion for the sport. Lynn competed NBTA and won numerous state, regional and national titles. She then went on to be the Feature Twirler at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. Lynn twirled at home, away and in large bowl game venues. She also competed in the Miss Texas Organization and was a non-finalist talent award winner for baton twirling.

After graduating from law school at Texas Tech University School of Law, Lynn returned to Fort Worth and began practicing law. She remained active in the sport by giving clinics and helping to judge and run twirling competitions. When her daughter turned 2 and began dance at a local studio, Lynn began teaching dance and baton twirling a the studio.

It was there that Cowtown Strutters was born. Her group classes turned into private lessons and a competitive group of students.

Lynn is full-time government lawyer, mom to Evelyn and wife to a supportive and loving #twirldad.
